Jesus Seguinot of New Haven was arrested after agents with the Stamford Police Department's Narcotics and Organized Crime squad received word he would be making a drop of powder cocaine to a Waterbury Avenue home, said Capt. Richard Conklin.

Officers set up surveillance Friday on the home and spotted Seguinot pulling into the driveway of the drop house, along with a woman and her 16-month-old child, and moved in to apprehend him, Conklin said.

During a search of Seguinot, Conklin said officers found two bags containing 35 grams of powder cocaine inside his front pocket, along with another bag containing 23 grams of crack cocaine, seven more grams in another bag and $1,613 in cash under the driver’s seat.

Officers also uncovered two more baggies containing 12 grams of cocaine, a small amount of marijuana, and a small twisted bag with a brown powder substance, along with extra yellow baggies for packaging drugs, Conklin said.

Seguinot, who is being held on $50,000 bond, was charged with possession of narcotics, possession with intent to sell, operating a drug factory and possession of marijuana.
