BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A teenager who was shot Tuesday night in Bridgeport has not cooperated with police in their search for the suspect, according to ctpost.com.
The 17-year-old, who was shot in the shin on Stratford Avenue at 9:45 p.m., says he was by himself at the time and did not see who shot him, police said. An 18-year-old man who drove the victim to the hospital said he did not know or see anything, ctpost.com reported.
A van's windows were shot out during the incident, police said, but it was unclear whether the teen was inside the van, ctpost.com said.
