The unnamed male teacher, who was hired through the firm “Source for Teacher,” has been fired and Harding Principal Carmen McPherson has been placed on paid leave, the Connecticut Post reported.

She was assistant principal at the Central Avenue school for nearly six years and has been in her current post for three years.

The school district won’t say if McPherson’s suspension had anything to do with the teacher’s firing, the Connecticut Post story said.
