BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — The Gathering of the Vibes summer weekend music festival organizer, Ken Hays, owes the city $772,725 in police overtime, according to the Connecticut Post.

Mayor Joe Ganim says the money is owed for the years 2013 to 2015 for the popular weekend-long music event that draws thousands of spectators to Seaside Park, said the Connecticut Post.

In November, Hays canceled the 2016 event, but the city still has a $300,000 security deposit, added the Connecticut Post.
