Bridgeport Police Seek Public's Help In Finding Murder Suspect

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- The Bridgeport Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in finding Douglas Rivas, 34, who is wanted for the murder of 36-year-old Cristibal Hernandez.

Hernandez was fatally shot at 10 p.m. Sept. 25 after a fight broke out inside El Paraiso Restaurant.

There is an active warrant for the arrest of Rivas on murder and weapons charges. The bond is set at $1 million for him.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Douglas Rivas is asked to call police at 203-576-TIPS (8477). All information will remain confidential.
