Bridgeport Police Seek Help in Finding Burglary Suspect

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. —  Police are looking for a suspect who stole four pairs of sunglasses, four men’s watches, and $2,500 in cash from a Bridgeport apartment in June, police said.

A Bridgeport police officer responded to a report of a burglary near Arctic Street and Pembroke Street at 1:30 a.m. June 22, police said.

The victim told police he had left his apartment at 1:30 p.m. June 21 and returned at 1:30 a.m. June 22 to find that someone had tampered with the lock on his front door and moved the door mat, police said.

When the victim entered the apartment, he found that his bed had been moved and his clothing was piled up on the floor, police said. The items were also missing, police said.
