On Sunday, Oct. 4, at 7:35 p.m., a 911 caller reported an armed robbery at the Paradise Beauty Salon, 763 State St., committee by a suspect wearing a “fake Santa beard," according to police.

Officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspect, police said.
