BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Bridgeport police are investigating a report of a mysterious stabbing that left a man with a wound in his chest, and police say that includes the possibility that it was self-inflicted, according to the CT Post.
The man told police he felt something in his chest while taking out the trash late Saturday at a Shell station near North Avenue and Main Street. Police said the man noticed bleeding but says he doesn't know how it happened, the CT Post reports.
He was treated at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Police said he had a small knife in his pants pocket, the CT Post says.
