Bridgeport Police Investigate Shooting That Injured 2 Men

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Bridgeport police are investigating a shooting Sunday that left two Bridgeport men with injuries following what appears to be an argument during a drug deal, according to a CT Post report.

Police said Brandon Thompson, 20, went with friends late Sunday to meet with Immanuel White, 22, along Iranistan Avenue to buy marijuana. After an argument, both men had been shot, CT Post says.

Thompson was shot in the chest and was in critical condition at St. Vincent's Hospital. White was also taken to St. Vincent's with what police said were non-life-threatening injuries, CT Post reports.
