Brandon Williams, who is also known as 14K, was indicted by a New Haven grand jury on one count of sex trafficking of a minor and one count of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion. He entered his plea before U.S. Magistrate Judge Donna Martinez in Hartford.

Williams has been in custody since his arrest on Aug. 26, 2015. The indictment alleges that between July 10 and Aug. 26, 2015, he forced a minor to engage in commercial sex acts, officials said. The investigation was conducted by the FBI, along with the Bridgeport Police Department.

If found guilty, the sex trafficking charge carries a sentence of a minimum of 10 years up to life in prison, and the sex trafficking by force charge calls for a minimum of 15 years in prison up to life in prison, officials said.
