BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A Bridgeport man was found guilty of murder Wednesday in connection with the shooting death of a 24-year-old in 2014, according to the Connecticut Post.
Nasir Hargett, 21, could face up to 60 years in prison after a jury found him guilty of the crime following about two days of deliberation, the Connecticut Post reported.
Hargett was arrested when he was 18 and charged with the murder of Davon Robertson, who was shot and killed on Oct. 13, 2014, police said. Police said that Robertson had gotten into an altercation with a group of young males at East Main Street and Pearl Street. One of the young men followed him for about a block and fired several shots, police said.
Robertson was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead, police said. Hargett was arrested the next day.
