Police said that Geneus then stared at the shooter for a moment and then pulled out his handgun and unloaded at him. In all, police said the two men may have exchanged as many as 20 shots in the gun battle.

Police said the shootout was captured on surveillance video and also said that all three men had been at a Super Bowl party in the community room at 111 Towne St. Police said all three men can be seen on surveillance video at the party.

Barcello said that video has played a role in the police investigation and they are getting some cooperation from witnesses and others.
