Bridgeport Firefighter Charged With Threatening To Kill Wife

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A Bridgeport Fire lieutenant was arrested after allegedly threatening to kill his wife on Tuesday, according to ctpost.com.

Gregory R. Daly, 42, of Southington, threatened his wife, who is a Southington High School Administrator via text, saying he was going to kill her and that he'd "see her when school starts." The threat triggered a modified lockdown at four Southington schools, ctpost.com reported. 

Daly, who was promoted to lieutenant earlier this year, has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation, ctpost.com said.
