ANSONIA, Conn. -- Ansonia police arrested a local man Sunday who was accused of grabbing a woman at the Big Y Supermarket by the neck and shaking her and then kicking a police officer in the face, according to the Connecticut Post.

After being handcuffed, Anthony Tenn, 30, struggled and resisted being put into the cruiser, the Post said. During a search, he was found to be carrying a pocket knife and two small baggies of a white powdery substance that field tested for cocaine, the Post said.

Tenn, held on a $50,000 bond, was charged with breach of peace, threatening, third-degree assault, assault on a police officer, interfering with an officer and possession of cocaine, the Post said.
