18-Year-Old Woman Says Men Forced Her To Drive From Bridgeport Shooting

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — An 18-year-old Bridgeport woman was found safe in Wallingford after several men jumped into her car and ordered her to drive after a shooting in Bridgeport early Monday, according to WFSB.

Few details were released about the incident, but the woman told Wallingford police that the men got out of the car somewhere between Bridgeport and Waterbury, WFSB said. 

She called 911 and state police told her to pull over in a safe and public place, WFSB said. The woman was found at about 2:30 a.m. Monday at the First Connecticut Credit Union in Wallingford, police told WFSB.

The 18-year-old woman was not hurt, and it was not clear whether anyone was injured in the Bridgeport shooting, WFSB said.
