Hardison was educated in the Bridgeport School System. She attended Americare School of Allied Health, where she received a nursing assistant certificate.
She was predeceased by her mother Herliner Russell and sister Beverly Hill.
She is survived by two brothers, John (Callie) Saunders and the Rev. Alvin Russell, a special friend Yolanda Martinez and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m.m Wednesday at Russell Temple CME Church, 555 Connecticut Ave., Bridgepor with the Rev. Alvin Russell officiating.
The family would like to thank the hospice team for their care of Tanya.
