BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Stanley Tatarynowicz, Sr., of Bridgeport, died on April 1. He was 88.
Tatarynowicz was born in Poland, serving in the English Army during World War II.
He eventually moved to the United States, settling in Bridgeport and becoming a foreman for Jenkins Valves until retiring.
Tatarynowicz also served as an Eucharist Minister at St. Ann Church in Bridgeport.
He is survived by wife Loretta (nee Wasilewicz), five children, Maryann Burout and her husband Chuck of Bedford, N.H., Irene Ferrigno and her husband Eric of Shelton, Susan Pinheiro and her husband Carlos of Fairfield, Stanley Jr. and his wife Lisa, and Frank; and six grandchildren.
Arrangements were handled by the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, located at 1209 Post Road in Fairfield.
