BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Rosalind Ruskin Gordon, of Bridgeport, died Dec. 25. She was 93.
She was the wife of Harold Gordon, meeting her husband in Bridgeport during World War II.
Harold Gordon died in 1974.
She is survived by her daughter, Lois Gordon; her son and his wife, Jay and Sandy Gordon; her four grandchildren Harold Gordon (and his wife Dina), Scott Paris, Jennifer Matsumoto (and her husband Steven) and Jonathan Harold Gordon; and two great-grandchildren, Oliver Paris and Emma Matsumoto.
She grew up in Bridgeport and graduated from Central High School.
One of her proudest moments was when she became a Bat Mitzvah at the age of 83.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor her memory contribute to the Adult Education Fund at Congregation B'nai Israel, 2710 Park Ave., Bridgeport, CT, 06604.
Shiva will be observed at Congregation B'nai Israel from 5-8 p.m. Monday with minyan at 7 p.m.
