WEST HAVEN, Conn. – Obediah "OB" Ferguson, of Bridgeport, died Monday, March 7. He was 66.
He was born to Napoleon and Ruby (McDowell) Ferguson on March 9, 1949, in Brooklyn, N.Y. He served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He had recently retired from Casting & Design, Milford.
He is survived by sons, Ricky and Larry (Monette) Ferguson; daughter, Teressa (Eugene) Rogers; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his former wife, Hazel (Jennings) Ferguson.
He was predeceased by two brothers and a sister.
A service of celebration will be held Thursday, March 17, at 11 a.m. at the George J. Peterson Funeral Home, 1041 Noble Ave., Bridgeport. Interment will immediately follow in Veteran's Cemetery, Bow Lane, Middletown. Friends may greet the family from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
