BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Marion Delores Storms, of Bridgeport, died Tuesday, Oct. 13, at Conecticut Hospice in Branford. She was 75.
Storms was born Aug. 19, 1940, in the Bronx, N.Y., to Oliver and Luella Givens, working at medical company Medtronic (formerly US Surgical, Tyco and Covidien) in New Haven as a receptionist.
She was predeceased by her parents and sister Olivia Givens, and is survived by her husband Alan, daughter Tanya Storms, son Darryl Storms and his wife Dr. Stephanie Storms of Stratford, one grandchild, three nephews, two cousins, Grace-Alee Bearsley and Pearl Givens of Fredericksburg, Va., aunt Ann Wilson of Morristown, N.J., brother-in-laws Nicholas Storms and wife June of Yonkers, N.Y., and Jamie Storms of Pottstown, Pa., and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be conducted from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main St., Bridgeport.
A private family burial will be held at a later date.
