Posca worked at the Savoy Laundry, the Panteri Clothing Factory and for the City of Bridgeport, where she retired from East Side Middle School.
She is survived by her children, Maria Cirilo of Bridgeport, Celeste Camagna and her husband Gaetano of Monroe and Antonio Posca and his wife Concetta of Ansonia; eight grandchildren, Rose Mannino and her husband Francesco, Linda Simon and her husband David, Anthony Posca, Silvia Rodrigues and her husband Michael, Vera Gilberti and her husband Michael, Liberata Maldonado, Umberto Posca and Lisa Camagna; 13 great-grandchildren, Yvette, Michael, Antonino, Francesco, Jallisa, David, Brendon, Umberto Jr., Nicolino, Alexandria, Edwin, Anthony and Gianna; a sister, Francesca Scicchitano of Italy; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Concetta Posca; her parents; her great-great-grandson Anthony Posca Jr.; brothers Antonia and Marsile Scicchitagp; sisters Vittoria Scicchitano, Teresa Greco and Maria Anania.
Friends are invited to meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Patrick Church, 851 North Ave., Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery's garden mausoleum in Stratford.
