Born in Alabama, Harris was a WWII veteran. He was a longtime service repairman for Sears & Roebuck.
He is survived by his former wife, Rosetta Long Harris; children Gwendolyn Randall, Patrick Harris, Theodore Harris, Jeanette Harris and Michael Parker Harris; and grandchildren, great grand-children, family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Dea Harris.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13, at Salem Lutheran Church, 3160 Park Ave., in Bridgeport. Baker-Isaac Funeral Services, in Bridgeport, is assisting with arrangements.
