BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Longtime Bridgeport resident Evelyn J. Betas died Monday, April 25. She was 69.
Born in Krakovany Czechoslovakia, Betas was a Bridgeport and Trumbull resident for more than 60 years. She was a former care provider for T.L.C. where she worked for over 12 years. She was a supporter of Save the Children and the A.S.P.C.A.
Betas is survived by her son Erik Betas and wife Teresa of Torrington, grandsons Ryan and Branden Betas both of Bridgeport, brother Josef Kloc and several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by parents John and Emilia Kloc Betas.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Thursday, April 28 at 11 a.m. in the Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main St. in Bridgeport followed by interment in Mountain Grove Cemetery in Easton.
Calling hours will take place in the morning from 9 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home.
