BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Derrick Anthony Hill, 33, died Saturday, July 25, in Bridgeport.
Hill was born March 2, 1982, in Stamford, to Michael Rose of Jamaica, West Indies, and Dolice Hill. He was employed as a stock person at Walmart in Norwalk.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sons, Shakeemo Hill and Dakariai Wilson; his daughters, Denosh Billie and Cheyenne Johnson; his brothers, Donald Abrahams, Nigel Hill and Daniel Givens; his sisters, Gorgia Groves and Patricia Givans; his adopted father, Donald Abrahams, and step-father, Nigel Givans; paternal grandmother, Lolita Rose of Maryland; maternal grandmother, Lurline Wray; maternal great-grandmother, Lerline White; adopted grandparents, Aubrey and Naomi Wright; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A service of celebration will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Refuge Temple Church of God, 3050 Main St., Bridgeport. Friends may greet the family from 8 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Interment will follow immediately at Park Cemetery, 620 Lindley St., Bridgeport.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Geo. J. Peterson Funeral Hone, 1041 Noble Ave., Bridgeport.
