Griselle Pizarro was found not guilty Friday in the death of Jacob Lopez, 33, who was shot to death outside the Jehovah’s Witness temple on Huntington Turnpike on Dec. 7, 2014, the Post said.

Pizarro shot Lopez after years of domestic abuse, her lawyer told the Post. In his truck just before the fatal shooting, Lopez began to bang her head against the window and threatened her with a knife, the Post said.

He got out of the truck after she pulled a gun out of her purse and chased him before shooting him, the Post said.
