NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Commuters should be ready for significant delays Thursday through the weekend when the I-95 Northbound off-ramp to I-91 Northbound (Exit 48) will switch from being a left hand exit to a right hand exit in New Haven.
Drivers should plan for at least 20 to 30 minutes delays beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, July 16, as the work begins to create a new alignment of I-95 Northbound to the new bridge over Water Street in New Haven.
In addition, lane closures will occur through the I-95, I-91 and Route 34 Interchange throughout the weekend between the hours of 9 p.m. and 8 a.m.
Extensive lane closures will occur on I-95 Northbound between the off-ramps to Long Wharf Drive (Exit 46) and Frontage Road (Exit 51).
