BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Here are some of the stories that topped the news in Bridgeport last week:

  • Nine students at the Thurgood Marshall Middle School greeted John W. Marshall, the youngest son of the late U.S. Supreme Court associate justice, for whom the school was named.
