BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport has launched a new mobile mammography unit offering free and low-cost screenings for women 40 and older throughout the area.
The St. Vincent's SWIM Women's Imaging Center will visit these locations through the end of the month:
- The Mercy Learning Center, located at 338 Stillman Street in Bridgeport, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 15.
- The Stratford Health & Wellness Center, located at 3272 Main Street in Stratford, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 21.
- The Milford Health & Wellness Center, located at 199 Cherry Street in Milford, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 22.
- The Health Check Clinic at Oronoque, located at 7365 Main St. in Stratford, located at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 23.
Mammograms are free for those who do not have health insurance, have financial limitations and qualify for assistance, and discounted for those who do not have insurance but do not qualify for free services.
Appointments are required, and bring your insurance card (if you have one) to the visit.
