Mother Teresa, who spent her life to helping the poor in India, will be canonized into sainthood in September, according to reports.
Pope Francis approved the decree that Mother Teresa had performed two miracles, a requirement for sainthood, NBC News said.
Mother Teresa's canonization will likely take place in September to coincide with the 19th anniversary of her death, NBC News reported.
