FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Metro-North will suspend train service into and out of Grand Central Terminal at noon due to the anticipated impact of the blizzard and due to low ridership Tuesday morning, the MTA announced.

The last trains will depart their originating terminals starting at 9:30 a.m. and arrive in Grand Central and at their final outlying destinations by noon. No trains will operate after that time until further notice.

Here are the last trains:

Last New Haven Line trains:

  • Inbound: 9:46 a.m. from New Haven; 10:02 a.m. from Stamford
  • Outbound: 10:02 to New Haven; 10:36 a.m. to Stamford
  • No branch service was offered on Tuesday from Danbury, New Canaan and Waterbury.

Last Hudson Line trains:

  • Inbound: 7:50 a.m. from Poughkeepsie; 10 a.m. from Croton-Harmon
  • Outbound: 9:43 a.m. to Poughkeepsie; 10:21 a.m. to Croton-Harmon

Last Harlem Line trains:

  • Inbound: 10:12 a.m. from Southeast; 10:06 a.m. from North White Plains
  • Outbound: 9:52 a.m. to Southeast; 10:25 a.m. to North White Plains
  • No branch service was offered on Tuesday from Wassaic.

"This suspension is necessary to ensure the safety of our customers and to enable us to resume service once the worst of the blizzard passes," the MTA said.
