Metro-North Running Buses In Place Of Trains On Waterbury Branch

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Service problems continue Tuesday morning on the Waterbury Branch, Metro-North announced.

Train riders looking for the Waterbury branch will have to switch to buses from April 25 to May 3.

Substitute bus service will be provided on the Waterbury Branch for the 10:42 a.m. train departing Stratford and making all stops to Waterbury. 

Riders are advised to listen for announcements at the stations. 

Mechanical problems, delays and bus substitutions have been reported on the branch for much of the Tuesday morning commute, Metro-North said.
