BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A city man reportedly injured by a broken window was aided by two fellow residents, according to the Bridgeport Police Department.
Police responded to calls of an injured man at 12:37 a.m. in the area of Charles and Main streets. The man sustained a large cut to his arm and significant blood loss, police said, after he injured himself on a broken window.
The injured man was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital by a concerned citizen that was driving by that man and another man that helped the victim into the vehicle. The man was operated on at St. Vincent’s and is in critical condition.
