BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Bridgeport firefighters, city officials and others were on hand Sunday to rename French Town Road in honor of three-year-old Sincere Pettway, who perished in a fire on Jan. 3, according to the Connecticut Post.
The road will now be called Sincere Pettway Lane, the Connecticut Post reported. Pettway, who died from smoke inhalation during a fire at her condo, was found by firefighters on the second floor in thick smoke, said the Connecticut Post.
Her mother, two other children and another woman living in the Greentree Condominiums, received burns during the fire, added the Connecticut Post.
