Bridgeport, Conn. -- Trifitness of Fairfield the Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center will host the annual Seaside Sprint at Seaside Park in Bridgeport on June 11 to benefit Caroline House, a literacy education center in Bridgeport.
The event begins at 7 a.m. and includes a triathlon and duathlon. The triathlon includes a half-mile swim, a 10-mile bike ride and a 3.1-mile run. The duathlon for non-swimmers includes a 1.5-mile run, a 10-mile bike ride, and a 3.1-mile run. Beginners and seasoned athletes alike are invited to join the fastest and safest triathlon course in Connecticut, with a very flat course that is closed to traffic.
