Pearson-Rac became a mystery writer later in life. Her first novel, "On Track," introduced four main characters — who just happen to be seniors — and spearheaded her into her second, "All Ears." A third, "Break Even," is ready to explode from her imaginative brain.
She is an active community volunteer leader — the inspiration behind, and chair of Make A Difference Day, and Board President of First Night. Her diverse career includes having been an adjunct criminology professor at the University of Massachusetts, coordinator of a national cancer research project at Harvard and corporate IT executive at Colgate-Palmolive, and more.
Pearson-Rac is the wife of Y’s Man Frank Rac.
The meeting will be Nov. 17 at the Saugatuck Congregational Church at 245 Post Road E., Westport.
Y's Men of Westport/Weston is an organization of retired and semi-retired men with a continuing interest in activity, fellowship, learning and community service. Those interested in hearing Pearson-Rac, and learning about Y’s Men should contact John Brandt at jkbrandt@aol.com.
