Bridgeport's Child & Family Guidance Center Names New Outpatient Director

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- The Child & Family Guidance Center of Bridgeport announced that Terril Pile, LCSW, a Trumbull resident, has been named the agency’s new Outpatient Behavioral Health Unit Director.

Pile is replacing Dee Jackson, who held the position for 10 years and retired in December. 

Michael Patota, CEO/President at the Child & Family Guidance Center said, “Terril will be responsible for ensuring that CFGC remains at the forefront in providing quality mental health and substance abuse treatment to children with complex needs and their families. I cannot think of a better candidate to step into this role.”

Pile most recently served as the director of the Emergency Mobile Psychiatric Services Program at the Child & Family Guidance Center and held this position for four years. Prior to that, he worked as a clinician on CFGC’s mobile crisis team for six years. 

A New York City native, Terril received his Master of Science in Social Work with a focus on Social Work Administration from Fordham University. His 20 years working in the Social Service field has given him experience working with foster care and the Administration for Children’s Services (ACS), Mental Health Association of New York City, and Juvenile Probation. 

Pile has a private practice in Milford and resides in Trumbull with his family.
