Fabio Cabral found a lump in his throat and ate soup for a month in an effort to protect his family from crippling medical expenses. When Cabral finally relented, he was diagnosed with cancer that had metastasized.

Cabral's wife, Fernanda, along with his daughters, Isabela, 6, and Vicky 4, have set up a You Caring fundraiser to help pay for Fabio's chemotherapy treatments.

To date, nearly $2,300 has been raised to help Fabio and his family out.
