BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Bridgeport Hospital has promoted two men from the region to senior vice president positions.
Marc Brunetti of Milford and John Skelly of Bedford, New York, have been promoted to senior vice president of Administration and senior vice president of Finance, respectively.
Brunetti joined the hospital more than 20 years ago, first holding a series of nursing positions, then advancing to director of Cardiology, administrative director of Support Operations, then vice president of Administration.
“Marc assumes leadership and accountability for anything that needs to get done and does so in a way that embodies our values,” Chief Operating Officer Pamela Scagliarini said in announcing the promotions.
Skelly has led numerous initiatives during his 11 years with Yale New Haven Health System, including the Revenue Management Department and the Revenue Cycle team, in implementing a new records system. For the last three years, he has been the lead Finance executive as Bridgeport Hospital's vice president.
“John makes it his responsibility to understand the clinical and operational aspects of the business in addition to his high-caliber finance skills,” Scagliarini said. “We are very fortunate to have John and Marc as members of our senior leadership team.”
