Zoo Comedy Night Will Have You Roaring With Laughter In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Looking for a night of comedy? Tom Cotter, breakout star from Season 7 of "America's Got Talent," will entertain the audience at Bridgeport's Beardsley Zoo's Inaugural Comedy Night on Friday, Nov. 4, from 7 to 11 p.m.

The evening will feature two side-splitting comedians, wine and beer open bar, live and silent auctions, and more. All proceeds benefit Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo's conservation, education, recreation, and research programs. 

This night of comedy for a cause will feature Cotter, whose numerous television and radio credits include "The Tonight Show," "Last Comic Standing," his very own Comedy Central "Presents ... Tom Cotter," and more. He is a regular headliner at all of America's most famous comedy clubs, including The Improv, Catch a Rising Star, and The Gotham Comedy Club. 

The opening act for the evening is comedian Jane Condon from Greenwich. She won Audience Favorite on NBC's "Last Comic Standing" and has appeared on "The View," "24," and the "Today" show. 

The event takes places at The Warehouse at Fairfield Theater Company. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8.

Beardsley Zoo is Connecticut's only zoo features 300 animals representing primarily North and South American species. Visitors won't want to miss the Red Panda, Giant Anteater with her baby, Amur (Siberian) tigers and leopards, and Brazilian ocelot.
