BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Bridgeport held a Recycled Art Exhibit and reception Thursday at the Bijou Theater, as part of the city's Earth Fest celebration.

Hosted by the Maggy Daly Arts Cooperative at the Bijou, the reception featured the Recycled Art Exhibit, snacks, music and awards.

"If you remember the original Earth Day, we wanted to have that kind of celebration here in Bridgeport," Sylvia Boyd of the Bridgeport Public Library told Daily Voice. "We brought together all the downtown venues, spread the art at different locations around the city. All of the artwork uses recycled materials, and some of them are just incredible."
