Bridgeport Attorney Takes Spotlight Position At City Lights Gallery

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- An attorney in Bridgeport is the new president of City Lights art gallery.

Kelly O’Donnell, an associate at Pullman & Comley law firm, replaces Jeffrey Goldwasser on the board of directors.

Her legal work is in the business organizations and finance, and trusts and estates practice areas. 

O'Donnell also volunteers for board service at Discovery Museum, Bridgeport YMCA and Leadership Greater Bridgeport of the Bridgeport Regional Business Council.

“Kelly O’Donnell has tremendous leadership skills that will benefit City Lights Gallery as we begin our 13th year of operation,” said Suzanne Kachmar, City Lights and Company Executive Director. 

O'Donnell also helped the gallery find its new permanent home at 855 Main St., she said.

City Lights shows local, regional and emerging artists. The gallery also hosts community-based exhibits and events.The Gallery retail store allows artists to show and sell their work.

In addition to O'Donnell, John Brannelly of Fairfield was elected as the board's vice president and Jeffery Goldwasser of Trumbull as secretary, along with Elaine Carvalho as secretary, all unanimously selected.
