BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Craft beer lovers are invited to congregate at the Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport for the third annual Brew at the Zoo benefit on Oct. 10.
"With the growing interest in craft beer, this event is one of our most popular and it's easy to understand why," said Gregg Dancho, zoo director.
The zoo will serve craft beer from the following breweries:

- Blue Point Brewing Co.
- Coronado Brewing Co.
- Goose Island Brewing Co.
- Harpoon Brewery
- Kona Brewing Co.

- Shebeen Brewing Co.
- Shipyard Brewing Co.
- Shock Top
- Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
- Stella Artois
- Stony Creek Brewery
- Strongbow Cider
- Thomas Hooker Brewing Co.

Brew at the Zoo will also feature food trucks, a silent auction, live music and a preview of Haunted Howl-O-Ween from 7 to 8 p.m.
The event will run from 3 to 7 p.m. The zoo will close at 2 p.m.
Admission for the benefit is $40 in advance and $50 at the door. Attendees must be 21 or older.
