'Defeat The Dragon' At Corn Maze To Benefit St. Vincent's In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- The annual corn maze is set up once again at Trumbull's Plasko's Farm — and a trip through it could benefit St. Vincent's SWIM Across the Sound charity in Bridgeport.

A trip through the corn maze at Plasko's Farm in Trumbull will benefit St. Vincent's Medical Center.

This year's maze is titled "Defeat the Dragon" and features a mile and a half of twists, turns and dead ends across 4 acres of cornstalks. If patrons get lost, "Corn Cops" are stationed throughout the maze to help.

The Plasko family will donate a dollar of every trip through the maze to Bridgeport's St. Vincent's Medical Center and its SWIM Across the Sound cancer prevention, education and screening programs.

Visitors can challenge the dragon through Nov. 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. On Oct. 30 and 31, the maze will be open for Flashlight Nights from 5 to 9 p.m.

Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for children ages 4 through 10 and free for children under 3. Flashlight Night admission is $10 for adults and $8 for children.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Plasko’s Farm is located at 670 Daniels Farm Road in Trumbull.
