BRIDGEPORT, Conn. --The annual benefit for Bridgeport-based Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County will whisk people to Cuba for a "Havana Nights" party on Saturday, Feb. 25.
The event, which is the largest part of the year, includes cocktails, dinner, dancing, silent auction and the Pasofino Social Club playing live Latin music. It will be held at the Fairfield Theatre Company Warehouse, 70 Sanford, St., in Fairfield, and runs from 6:30-11 p.m.
Habitat CFC is offering online and mobile bidding for its silent auction. People can place bids online with a smartphone or mobile device between Friday, Feb. 17 and Saturday, Feb. 25. The auction closes at 8 p.m. People can even bid live during the benefit, and mobile and online bidding is fun, active and secure.
Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County (Habitat CFC) seeks to build community and to improve lives by partnering with low-income families, community volunteers and donors to build decent and affordable homes in stable and welcoming neighborhoods. Habitat CFC is a local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International.
