“We are blessed to have compassionate community partners who are willing to step-up in a time of need and work together to make sure no one goes hungry this Thanksgiving," said Bridgeport Rescue Mission Executive Director Terry Wilcox.

Greater Bridgeport Transit will take residents from Park City Communities apartment complexes to the Mission's Great ThanksGiving Project Monday and Tuesday. The project will provide 3,000 Thanksgiving food bags and coats to community members.

“Transportation for our senior citizens is a big challenge and the Greater Bridgeport Transit is helping alleviate that obstacle, working with Park City Communities to coordinate rides to our Great ThanksGiving Project,” Wilcox said. “We are blessed to have compassionate community partners who are willing to step up in a time of need and work together to make sure no one goes hungry this Thanksgiving.”
