The systems' Urology Services, including those at Bridgeport, Greenwich and Yale-New Haven hospitals, are taking part.
The Movember campaign raises awareness of men’s health issues such as erectile dysfunction (ED), low testosterone (Low-T) prostate cancer and overall fitness. Men can show their support for the campaign by growing a mustache.
All lectures begin at 6 p.m.:
- Nov. 16 – “Men’s Wellness,” Greenwich Hospital Hyde Conference Room, 5 Perryridge Road, Greenwich. Dr. James Rosoff, Dr. Franklin Loria and Richard Becker, Cardiac Rehabilitation specialist, will speak about infertility, low-T and sexual dysfunction as well as cardiac health and a fitness plan for health maintenance. - Nov. 30 – “Below the belt: Keeping it healthy,” Bridgeport Hospital/Northeast Medical Group Fairfield County Medical Center, 112 Quarry Road, Trumbull. Dr. Matthew Wosnitzer will cover topics such as low testosterone and erectile dysfunction in younger men, infertility, testicular abnormalities and how behaviors impact overall health.
