Karen Gordon (Fairfield, Bridgeport)- Karen Gordon was born in Jamaica, but as a child moved to the United States where she was raised in Queens, New York. Growing up, Gordon always had a flare for food, cooking for family and friends, and learning everything she knows from her mother - who moved back to their native country. A Fairfield resident since 2005, Gordon spent the last 20 years working on Wall Street as an investment banking researcher. After deciding to make a career switch, she opened her first restaurant at 16 Tunxis Hill Road called Stan's Jamaican Kitchen, named after her late father.
