Dominic Muro, owner of the bakery at 52 Main St., called the May 27 closing bittersweet, but said several factors left him no choice.

“It’s been in our heads for quite a while. It took a lot of thinking and lot of tears,” Muro told The Hour in this report.  Muro said the parking situation in this Norwalk "is absolutely brutal. It’s killing our deli business."

Muro's wholesale business -- with more than 60 customers -- will continue uninterrrupted.
